I guess I'm just not getting the whole idea for some reason. Did I or someone else on my computer try to download a program and the installer for that specific program had problems thus the annoying message every time I close IE? Or is it a program I already have on the computer that is causing the problem. I have updated and scanned for viruses and malware - nothing! They are not specific to a particular Linux distribution. Some Linux distributions now include a version of Apache OpenOffice in their own native package manager format.

These packages have been built and are supported by the distributions' own teams or community members, not by Apache OpenOffice. Some distributions have strict policies around licensing, which means they have chosen to disable parts of Apache OpenOffice which rely on software which does not meet their criteria.

Yer weccum. I hate to see folks hurt themselves. Though I derive a bit of income cleaning up after user-inflicted system damage - something which frequently calls for command line operations :wink:. I have the same error and I haven't a clue how to bypass it.

NSIS is catching every download I complete. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for any help. About the only reliably effective way I can think of to remedy the situation would be to figure out the application downloaded or installed from disc as the case might have been which first brought about the problem, uninstall it and remove all remaining associated registry entries, and then track down and likewise eliminate all subsequent similarly affected apps.
